Answer:  GOOD RETURNS

(Not bad.  None of the clue words were very difficult, although they were well scrambled.  I think Mr. Hoyt took some exception to some earlier comments, and decided to kill us with kindness today.  Three words ending in Y!  Nothing obvious in the answer letters.  Looks like they threw in a couple of “bonus clues”.  The Grand Prize amount and the comment.  Can any accountants out there explain to me the etymology of the slang phrase “G Moder”?  I understand that it’s an exclamation of success, but where the heck does it come from?  What’s the “G”?  What’s a “Moder”  Enquiring minds want to know!  Be well and so good, my friends.)   —   YUR
