(Very good, guys! I had some trouble getting “along”, and compound words like “pigsty” always take me a little longer to get. The starting of the scrambled word with the same letter as the un-scrambled word didn’t trip me up today, as “crunch” kind of jumped off the page. Nice scrambling of the answer letters, too. No give-aways! And, you gotta love the pun! I’ll be rooting for Butler and Kentucky today. But, as long as they’re competitive games, and no one gets hurt, may the best teams win. Along and logan. I used logan at first but cound not find the punch line. Pigsty can also be spelled with an “e” at the end of the word. But no go on that word. Good puzzle. I was an gas bag but that line wouldn’t fit either. Ah, what fun wordsmiths.
I think “Logan” doesn’t qualify, Rich, as it’s a name only. I *think* I know where you were going with “gas bag” – bad boy – but the letters, unfortunately, do not support it. Glad you had fun with it. I’m sure the guys appreciate it.

I thought logan, too! My husband, who rarely looks at the puzzle (just listens to clues), said along. I tried the solution at 10:30 at night, and just got too tired…cheated! Funny puzzle!
