Visual Description: Malodorous high seas chess match.
EINTP = INEPT, BLAMU = ALBUM, AAESVG = SAVAGE, TRXEVO = VORTEX — Giving us: ETLMSAATE
Clue/Question: After so many days at sea, his buddy was becoming a . . .
Answer: STALE MATE
(OK. This jumble would’ve been better had they switched the order of “savage” and “vortex”. Because, as it stands, one can clearly see the word “mate” in the scrambled answer letters. A little attention to detail, guys! If you need a Quality Control person, I’m your guy. The clue words were good. No problem there. Classic seascape cartoon, with the sinking sailboat in the background. Is that someone calling for help on the edge of the sinking boat? Nice little predictable pun for the answer. And, I like the name of our characters’ sailboat. Please enjoy the gratuitous girlie pic! Alright, friends. Go out and do good deeds today. As you should every day.) — YUR
PS. Two days ago it was World Water Day. How many of you guys heard anything about it in the media/press? — YUR
What’s the name of the boat? The one in my paper is so tiny, I can’t read it.
It’s BUMJEL! 🙂

Check, mate.
Where did you find that picture of me in my bikini? Ha! Only kidding! Anyway, INEPT took me 22 attempts at rearranging letters! Of course, it was that darn vowel starting the word. I liked the name of the boat, but couldn’t read it either. Fun puzzle!
I figured it would! The ones that usually throw me a bit are the scrambles that start with the same letter as the actual (un-scrambled) word. I guess the last place I look is the first letter!
