Clue/Question: The pool player made so much money because he made . . .
Answer: BANK SHOTS
(Not bad! Good clue words. Nothing too funky. I almost had to take pen to paper to get “sailor”, but I got it before it came to that. I must have some kind of thing for 6 letter scrambled words that start with the letter of the unscrambled word. Yesterday, I had a tough time getting cashew! And, that’s far from being an uncommon word. Did everyone see the “bonus clue”? It’s not hidden or anything, but for those who get the shrunken version the second line on the banner reads: “Sponsored by Las Vegas Savings and Loan”. Without the bonus clue – which I never look for – it might have been difficult for some to get the answer. You’d have to key in to what the character is saying, and match that to how the shot is set up on the table. And, I suppose you’d need, at least, a rudimentary understanding of the game. I liked it! I guess we’ll just have to see how many had a hard time solving it. Stay sharp, friends.) — YUR
PS. WordPress needs to update their spell-check to include more Spanish words and names. It’s always underlining “Las” (and “Los”), as though it’s some kind of error. I know you’re Brits, but come on, guys! Get with it! — YUR
