Clue/Question: What the conceited preacher had.
Answer: AN ALTAR EGO
(Finally, one that puts it all together! The clue words were a little on the common side, for my taste, but they were well scrambled. NOTHING obvious about the layout of the answer letters today. I bet a few of you toyed around with the possibility of the second word being angel. Great cartoon, with a built in clue. I’m guessing that they’re leaving out the quotation marks so it won’t be so obvious that the answer is a pun. I’m hoping that someone didn’t have too much trouble with the three clue words that began with vowels! A little side note for y’all. In case I’m too rushed to tell you tomorrow. From Friday 03/11 through Wednesday 03/16 I’ll be posting the spoilers from Pacific Time. Going to be visiting friends in LA, with a side trip to LV. I don’t have a laptop, so I’ll be relying on the good graces of my host and hostess in getting these up. Not sure what I’m going to do when we go to LV. Hmm! Thursday the 17th it will also be posted late, as I’ll be flying back from the coast, and won’t be home until early evening. From then on . . . jet-lag could be a minor issue, for a while. Of course, this is all assuming I don’t succumb to any Deep Vein Thrombosis on one of the flights, or soon after. There’s still a lot of swelling in the foot and leg, and flying out IS 6 hours, 20 minutes. Hey, return is only 5 hours, 25 minutes! Doc knows all about it, and didn’t seem too concerned. So, keep your fingers crossed, and be prepared to be patient! If I do happen to croak – very unlikely – then I fully expect you guys to file a Class Action/Malpractice suit against Dr. Steven A. Renzoni, at Rockland Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, P.C. ! You can’t expect anyone to get away with depriving you of yur dear old uncle, now can you?) — YUR
😉
PS. Again, this picture is not me! My injury is to my left leg/ankle/foot.
