(I nearly gave up on this one!  The clue words were so easy, I thought this would be a piece of cake.  I played with WORTH, WORST, WHERE, SHORT, HORSE, SEWER, TOWER and SHOWER, to no avail.  I actually did isolate the “wise” at one point fairly early on.  But, when I looked at “horet” I just didn’t see “other”.  I took a break to do the cryptoquote, and that one nearly did me in, as well!  But, I finally got it.  And then, somehow . . .
