Visual Description: Worker working while slacker slacks.
UPTYT = PUTTY, PRAAK = PARKA, MESSTY = SYSTEM, ATTORE = ROTATE — Giving us: UTRKSYOAE
Clue/Question: A co-worker who takes his time can do this.
Answer: TAKE YOURS
(Very good! First, I had a tough time getting “rotate”. I kept trying “oatter”, which isn’t a word, but I was thinking “oater” as in cowboy movie. Then, after getting past that, I’m looking at the well-scrambled answer letters and drawing a blank. I was trying “stay” something, and something “story”. Then “easy” something. Ahh! Then, I finally made out the word “take”, which is also part of the clue/question, and the rest fell into place. I almost called this one “Tough Tuesday” because I don’t seem to know what day it is. Glad I caught myself!) — YUR
I figured out the “take yours” answer but thought that can’t be right. Take yours what? My time? I did like you did and tried “stay” at what? Stray at what? It took me a few hours to realize “take yours” was the right answer. Wordsmiths unite and have fun stringing and parsing sentences.
Exactly, R.A.! Your time! They both would’ve been done already if slacker boy had done his share of the work. The real worker is responsible enough to know that he can’t leave until the job is done. So, it’s going to take him (you) longer to finish.
