Clue/Question: The Arctic explorer said his head gear was a . . .
Answer: POLAR ICE CAP
(Once again, the compound word “teapot” gave me some trouble. But, I was also tripped up some by “pardon”. And, somewhat by “limbo”, as well. My brain went to “mobil” first. That just goes to show the lasting effects of pervasive commercial marketing. Mobil was taken over by Exxon way back in 1999, and all the old Mobil service stations around here had been converted to Lukoil stations, long ago. I’m not sure if Mobil service stations have survived in other areas. I do know that Mobil still puts out a line of lubricants under the name Mobil. Heck. I can still remember when Exxon was Esso! I bet the boys at Exxon Mobil were thrilled to see BP take over the black hat they’ve been wearing since the Exxon Vadez oil spill, in 1989. 21 years is a long time to be perceived as the bad guy! I wonder. At this stage of the game, is there such a thing as a good oil company???) — YUR
