(Wow.  They sure gave us a lot of vowels, today!  I had some trouble getting “egoism”, and I was looking for something much more difficult than “given”.  I frequently get tripped up on the simpler ones.  Hey!  It’s the 69th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, by the Japanese.  If you get the opportunity, thank a veteran today.  Better yet, give him/her a big hug.  If they let you, of course.  Don’t go forcing hugs on people who don’t dig ’em.  Do good, people.)   — YUR

(Especially, when it comes to those pesky reasons – excuses – for going to war.  The USS Maine, Pearl Harbor, the Gulf of Tonkin “incident”, 9/11, Iraq’s WMD . . . just to name few American ones.  No disrespect intended to any of the victims, or any of their families and loved ones.  This is merely a comment on what governments will hype/allow/invent, in order to go to war.  Today is a day of solemn remembrance.  It’s a good day to thank the survivors of Pearl Harbor, and all of our veterans.)   — YUR
