Baseball is drama with an endless run and an ever-changing cast.”   — Joe Garagiola

(This guy played a BIG part in my appreciation of the sport of baseball!  Whether doing play-by-play, or color commentary, you could always tell how knowledgeable he was.  And, such a pleasant demeanor, with a great sense of humor.  You could tell how much he loved the sport, and how he really enjoyed being part of/around it, even though his playing days were long gone by.  Thanks, Joe!  You da man!)   — YUR

(Punny) Jumble Spoiler – 10/22/10

Me and me lol

Visual Description:  Spellbinding acts of sleight of hand.

CLUNE  =  UNCLE,  DIPTE  =  TEPID,  SPUMGY  =  GYPSUM,  REBURB  =  RUBBER —   Giving us:  UEPDPSURER

Clue/Question:  Another name for a great magician.

Answer:  A SUPERDUPER

(Some are probably groaning, but I liked it!  Great word play!  You know, it’s kind of funny.  Magic and card tricks are the only times we actually like being duped.  Did any of you guys notice the guys used “uncle” and “tepid” – used by YUR, earlier this week – in today’s clue words?  Coincidence???  Hmmm!  LOL!  Have a great Friday, people.)   — YUR
