Clue/Question: What the advice columnist did when she went to the foot doctor.
Answer: BARED HER “SOLE“
(They wouldn’t/didn’t put the quotation marks in – at least not in my newspaper – but I will . . . because THAT is the pun! Geez! “Emblam” was a great clue word! Good scrambling of the answer letters. Be good, do good, guys!) — YUR
(An immaterial mistake, as far as effecting the outcome/answer to the jumble . . . BUT a mistake nonetheless! All apologies.) — YUR
YUR,
Enjoy your site. Emblam is not a word. Embalm and Emblem are words. I think the clue word is Embalm.
Nancy
Shouldn’t that be EMBALM, not emblam??
Hi Unclerave,
I have to tell you that it was possibly an oversight on your part, but BELMAM became EMBALM, not EMBLAM as you stated on your solution. I threw out “EMBLEM” since that word has no A. Happy descrambling!!
It’s embalm, not emblam.
The kids LOVE it when their Uncle makes a mistake!!! Thank you for pointing it out to me, ladies! I will edit the spoiler, appropriately.
Regards,
YUR
