(Not as fluid as a Henry Moore piece, but there IS an organic quality to it. Kind of a cross between a banana and a saguaro cactus. When the Eiffel Tower was first built everyone from the hoi polloi to the hoity toity poo-pooed it as a factory smokestack, or as an overgrown street lamp! People quickly warmed up to it though, and now it’s one of THE most iconic structures in the world. What do I think of the sculpture in the cartoon? No comment.) — YUR
