(Two of the guys look like your typical  alley cats, but our hero looks like he should be behind a desk, somewhere.  I guess his Census job is over too.  Anyone remember some of that talk about rebuilding this country’s infrastructure?  Where did THAT go?  That would have created work for thousands . . . at the very least.  Even if they weren’t permanent jobs, it would have started the ball rolling, and at the conclusion you could point to something tangible and positive.  Improved/rebuilt bridges, roads, railways, dams and levees, water and sewer systems, the “power grid”, schools, prisons, etc., etc., etc. would have a tremendous effect on our national psyche.  And, how about that big “Green” initiative?  I’m not seeing much of that, on more than a small scale.  Why does our government prefer to continue allocating BILLION$ and BILLION$ for two unpopular efforts to “save” people who, rightfully, see us as intruders and occupiers?  Change we can believe in???  “Meet the new boss . . . same as the old boss!” Remember those days when you felt like electing a President was really going to make a difference?  I do.  I guess that just makes me old.)   — YUR
