“Anger and intolerance are the twin enemies of correct understanding.” — Mohandas Gandhi
(I take some issue with this statement. The word twin would indicate that the two are, to a large extent, equal. But intolerance is more of a cognitive action/reaction, whereas anger is emotional. We all feel anger from time to time. It’s in our animal nature. Intolerance is a non-understanding, driven by anger and ignorance. Intolerance is the younger, but more dangerous, brother of anger and ignorance. If you can get a handle on your anger, and acknowledge your ignorance, then you can learn to be tolerant.) — YUR
