Cryptoquote Spoiler – 05/15/10

Just when you think you’ve graduated from the school of experience, someone thinks up a new course.”   — Mary Waldrip

(I don’t know how recent this quote is – she’s still living, as far as I know – but it certainly applies to our current crazy world.  Sometimes, I feel like everything I know is obsolete!)   — YUR

(Good) Jumble Spoiler – 05/15/10

Visual Description:  Kids teasing a downed ice skater.

NIFIS  =  FINIS,  WARLC  =  CRAWL,  CADAFE  =  FACADE,  ENBOCK  =  BECKON   —   Giving us:  FSRWACECK

Clue/Question:  When the ice skater fell, the result was a . . .

Answer:  FEWCRACKS

(Wow!  “FACADE”, “BECKON” and especially “FINIS”.  I know some purists are going to complain about “FINIS”.  Sure, it’s French.  But “FACADE” is also of French origin.  The English language is far from being pure.  It’s constantly changing, and adapting to the ever-changing socio-cultural environment.  Like the one guy was saying.  Don’t take this too seriously.  Just have fun with it.)   — YUR
