(All the clue words had an element of challenge, for me, this morning.  The two big clues – one in the cartoon and the other in the Clue/Question – made the answer pretty obvious.  But, a decent jumble.  And, at least I’m getting this up before 9:00 PM today!)   — YUR

  1. Okay, wordsmiths, I realized the error of my ways. Tew is an old English or Scottish word. Tewing means to tan, as in leather, or throw about along with several other meanings. Look in the Oxford English dictionary for more meanings. lol
