(Sorta Relevant) Cryptoquote Spoiler – 05/01/10

I am certainly not one of those who need to be prodded.  In fact, if anything, I am the prod.”   — Winston Churchill

(So . . . Winnie had no problem being the pitcher, but didn’t care for being the catcher?  I know.  I’m bad. Enjoy the weekend.  And, the Kentucky Derby!  ‘Sposed to be a sloppy track today.  There’s some old saying about betting on a grey horse when it’s sloppy, so you might want to look at Coveyance or Paddy O’Prado.  The odds-makers have PO’P as a little more of a long shot, but he’s got the more experienced jockey, and the horse knows Churchill Downs.  He trains there.  But, watch out for Ice Box and Awesome Act.  They’ve both run in mud and Ice Box has a great late kick!  Super Saver could be in the mix, but everyone will be wary of jockey Calvin Borel this year.  My dark horse is Line of David!  Lots of speed, good jockey, and anything can happen in a field of 20 on a sloppy track.  If nothing else, you’re likely to hear his name as a contender for the first 3/4s of the race.  Like I know anything!) —   YUR

I didn’t do too bad in my Derby discussion yesterday, did I? And, I wish I’d wheeled Super Saver with Ice Box and Paddy O’Prado. But, I didn’t! Oh, well!
