“An advertising agency is eighty-five percent confusion and fifteen percent commission.” — Fred Allen
(Very tough, today! No “A”, “I” or “THE”. No “PEOPLE”, “EVER”, “NEVER”, “WHICH” or “THAT”, etc.. This ranks up there as one of the toughest I’ve ever had to solve. But, as with most Fred Allen quotes, very amusing.) — YUR
I guessed right on “ALLEN” and the rest fell together pretty quickly.
J,
I see a four letter first name and I LEAP to “John”. When that didn’t make sense I retreated to the body of the cryptoquote. I finally was able to come up with the “ion” of confusion and commission, and the “ing” of advertising. Then “an” and “and” opened the floodgates! Good going getting “Allen” early on!
