Did MT actually say this? When I googled this quote, I found it attributed to Elizabeth I or Francis Bacon.
I agree. This was a challange. Couldn’t get my brain working at all!

I can’t find anything linking it to Twain either, JMin! Maybe it’s a new wrinkle for the Cryptoquote. Decipher the quote, and the alleged speaker, then try to confirm who said it!

Yeah, DLG. I was pretty certain about Es and Ss all along, but I started out thinking the Bs were Ts, and LNYY was the word WILL. I thought KEEPS might be either NEEDS or FEELS, too. It finally all came together when I realized the Ws were the Ts.

I actually guess right (as far as the puzzle is concerned) that the author was Mark Twain and the rest fell together pretty quickly. Go figure.
Didn’t have the patience for this one. All the double letters threw me. Definitely a tough one.
