Marcy Kaptur’s “WallStreet Bailout”

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you our next media darling: Representative Marcy Kaptur!!!  If I had been present, at the time of her speech, I would have given her a standing ovation that would’ve lasted SO long they would’ve had to drag my ass outta there!  She speaks truth to power.  She speaks for ME.  About the only thing that I would have added would be a call for Hank Paulson’s resignation.  They’ve finally pushed their sick little game just a little too far, and finally . . . FINALLY enough Americans have woken up long enough to say:  Screw you!  We are not going to take it anymore.  The gravy train has made it’s final stop!

Paulson no longer has credibility.  And maybe, through this attempted force-feeding of bad legislation, with all their fear-mongering, enough Americans will see just how complicit the corporate media has been, and DEMAND that they clean up their act as well!

    Fight the Wall Street Bailout

This bailout is nothing but bad news. There is no real crisis, the market sell of is a result of fear mongering by President Bush

The bill allows for foreign banks to dump all of their bad assets into American banks, who can in turn sell the debt to the treasury.

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE PUT ON THE HOOK FOR WALL STREET, AND ESPECIALLY NOT FOR COMMUNIST NATIONS LIKE CHINA!

Marcy Kaptur may have it exactly right. It’s hard to know with an administration that has cried “wolf” so many times, and then openly laughed at their deceit in front of the television cameras. The only thing we know for sure is that everything that comes out of that office must be viewed with great suspicion, and that we are likely to be looking at and wasting our time with another lie from a dysfunctional administration again, at a time when there are many more issues of import to entertain other than another Bush plot… the election for one. The Bush administration has once again succeeded in hobbling both candidates by putting them in a position in which they must entertain the possibility that the need for a bail out in this case might be true, and neither could afford to question them in that event. The affect of such an event
might indeed be catastrophic. I am not an economic expert, but the numbers on the stock exchange went up a bit today. Does that mean, or could it imply, that there are other economic experts out there who question the likelyhood of Paulson’s proposed need for federal dollars ?

Marcy Kaptur’s reasoning seems more possible than not. I applaud her bark at this wolf calling administration, and join her.

Woof woof woof woof woof woof, woof woof woof, woof woof ! ( Translation ) Either give us the facts Paulson, and show proof, or resign !

That being said, I’ll return to my movie, ” Dances with wolves ” for a strong healing dose of heroism, kindness,(lying insensitivity and demonstrated cruelty and bigotry of our government and the pawnee Indians at that time) contrasted with the wisdom and willingness to trust of the Sioux and one lonely honest soldier, the fellowship, and eventually love that flowers in the midst of such insanity.

    Good movie. I recommend it.

Who??? Your list makes little sense. I don’t see any All Street CEO names here, Sarah. THEY are the crooks. If you’re going to mention any politicos, you might as well include Bush, Cheney, Paulson, etc.
