Context and Perspective – NOTG

One of my brothers in disarmament sent this to me this morning.  It’s from Wednesday’s Chicago Tribune, and I think it is of great value. (especially, if you were subjected to the sensationalized corporate media hype on the matter.) 

Here’s a relevant snippet and link to the article:

“The problems of race confronting us are immense. But if
we sensationalize isolated words for political
advantage, casting aside the depth of feeling,
circumstances and context which inform them, those
problems not only will remain immense, they will be
insoluble.”
