Sorry, guys! No time for this, right now. Maybe later in the day. Maybe tomorrow. See ya! — YUR
Alright . . . Visual Description: A tuckered out shrubbery gardener, and her doofus hubby.
GUHOD = DOUGH, BAUQS = SQUAB, SLEUUF = USEFUL, SAYMUL = ASYLUM — Giving us: DHBEUS
Clue/Question: After a long day of planting hedges, she was this.
Answer: BUSHED
(Decent clue word jumbling. Nothing that required writing out combinations, or needing to back into. No new clue words today.
The answer letter layout was fine. This is another one that felt kind of like a re-run, but maybe I’ve just been doing this too long. The cartoon set up the gag very well. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Probably trouble with saymul. At times we all need asylum !!!
If there were any trouble, Paul, you guys would have heard about it. I was pressed for time, and sometimes I’ll let other things wait for the sake of the blog, but not today. I just wasn’t feeling it, brother. Saturdays are famously slow. The last two days have been uncharacteristically slow, and this is just getting a little old. The blog has peaked. Maybe I’ll sign this over to ralis95. Who knows? We’ll just have to see how things play out.
Oh. And, not that this proves anything, but I wouldn’t have put “saymul” as a tag if I hadn’t have solved it. But, thanks anyway.

Hi Your comment made me feel a little sad and concerned, should I be? You know all of us look forward everyday to solve and see the jumble solution and especially to read your comments!
Gwen
There just aren’t enough of you, Gwen. These kind of word games seem to be a dying art, and I’m somewhat of a dinosaur! I was hoping to spark some kind of *linguistic-game renaissance*, but it doesn’t seem to be happening. Or, perhaps it has already peaked. I don’t know. Maybe the word did spread, but the answer is coming back: Who cares? I know, as with a lot of things, that it’s going to run hot and cold, but the hots are running a little tepid and the colds are numbing the desire to devote the time and effort.
Thanks, for your concern, and for being a loyal/regular reader!

I thought we were friends! What kind of friend would even suggest saddling me with such an awesome responsibility as taking over your Jumble Spoilers? Wow! On the one hand, I guess that’s sort of a compliment – and yet on the other – well, I think I’ll stick to databasing the words and you stick to making us all smarter with your witting solutions.
My best, always
